Document Converter

What is the Document Converter? The document converter handles text and Office document conversions in five tabs. Everything runs in your browser.

Markdown ↔ HTML - Markdown to HTML uses the marked library with GFM support. Raw HTML in your Markdown is escaped and displayed as text for safety. - HTML to Markdown uses the mature Turndown library to produce clean Markdown.

CSV ↔ JSON - Supports comma, semicolon and tab delimiters. - The first row can be used as the header (object keys). - Quoted fields with commas and line breaks are handled correctly.

XML ↔ JSON - Convert XML to JSON (attributes become @_ keys, repeated tags become arrays). - Convert JSON back to XML with support for attributes. - Pretty-print or minify XML with error location hints.

Office Import - DOCX files can be converted to HTML or Markdown. - XLSX files can be converted to JSON or CSV, with sheet selection.

Office Export - Write Markdown documents as .docx files (headings, lists, tables, bold, italic). - Write JSON or CSV data as .xlsx spreadsheets.
