Browser requests are subject to CORS. If a remote API does not allow browser access, the request will be blocked by the browser — this is a security feature, not a DevToolBox bug.

How to Use

What is this HTTP client? This tool sends HTTP requests directly from your browser. It fills the gap for GET, POST, PUT, DELETE, PATCH, HEAD and OPTIONS calls with custom headers, query parameters and a JSON or form body — without leaving the page.

How to use it 1. Choose an HTTP method. 2. Enter a URL that starts with http:// or https://. 3. Add query parameters or custom headers if needed. 4. Choose a JSON or Form Data body. 5. Click Send Request.

Response panel - Status code with a color hint for 2xx, 3xx, 4xx and 5xx. - Elapsed time and response size. - Response headers and the response body. - JSON responses are automatically pretty-printed.

Link to JSON Formatter When the response body is valid JSON, a button appears next to the response body. Click Open in JSON Formatter to continue analyzing the data with path filtering and structure exploration.

Tips - Query parameters are URL-encoded and appended automatically. - Copy as cURL generates a terminal command that includes query params and form data. - If a request is blocked by CORS, use Copy as cURL in a terminal to bypass the browser restriction.

Privacy Requests are sent from your browser directly to the target server. DevToolBox has no backend and does not see your traffic.
