How to Use

What is JSON to Code? JSON to Code converts a JSON sample into ready-to-use type definitions for the five mainstream languages: TypeScript interfaces, JavaScript JSDoc typedefs, Python dataclasses, Go structs and Java records. All inference runs locally in your browser.

How to use it 1. Paste or type a JSON sample, or load the example. 2. Pick the target language, optionally change the root type name. 3. For TypeScript you can toggle the export keyword. 4. Click Generate, then copy or download the result.

Inference rules - Objects become named types; nested objects are promoted to separate declarations in PascalCase. - Arrays of objects merge the keys of every element; a key missing in some elements is marked optional (JS bracket syntax, Go omitempty, Python default None). - Mixed arrays produce union types; empty arrays fall back to unknown/any/interface. - null becomes null / None / interface / Object depending on the language. - Field names are adapted per language: Python keywords get a trailing underscore, Go fields are exported with json tags, Java record components use camelCase.

Tips - Inputs up to 2 MB are supported; nesting deeper than 100 levels is reported as a safety limit. - JSON passed from the JSON Formatter or the HTTP Request tool is picked up automatically.

Privacy All conversion happens locally in your browser. Nothing is sent to any server.
